YOGA for SENIORS

This past summer seniors had an opportunity to attend Yoga classes at the Carter Burden Luncheon Club & Senior Program; on 74th between 1st & 2nd. Their instructor Naomi Brisman volunteered her time and really enjoyed teaching the class. The Yoga class ran for 8 weeks during the summer, seniors ages 60-90+ attended the classes. The seniors really enjoyed learning yoga postures and easy stretches to help strengthen the body and mind.
