Carter Burden Christmas

Each year our holiday party on Christmas Day at the Carter Burden Luncheon Club becomes more magical for our seniors.  For many, this is the only holiday celebration they have, and they eagerly look forward to it.  This year, the Luncheon Club had a real Christmas tree, fresh garland hanging all over the room, and lights and decorations everywhere you looked! 150 older adults attended the party, 200 homebound meals were delivered, and we had 100 volunteers throughout the day.  Everyone also received a wrapped gift from our successful corporate gift drive.  Christmas carolers even stopped by for the seniors to enjoy. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers that made Christmas an enjoyable and memorable day for our seniors.
