The Carter Burden Center for the Aging, Inc. promotes the well-being of elderly residents of the Upper East Side of Manhattan through a broad array of direct social services and volunteer programs oriented to individual, family and community needs.

We are dedicated to supporting the efforts of older people to remain in their own homes living independently, safely and with dignity.

The 29th Annual Awards Ceremony & Dinner Dance
December 1, 2008

Many people gathered at the Rainbow Room on December 1st for the 29th Annual Awards Ceremony & Dinner Dance. The night was fun, festive, and a huge success for the organiztion. Everyone enjoyed the spectacular view of New York City from the 65th floor.

This year's Business Leadership Award was presented to
George A. Weiss, President, George Weiss Associates, Inc. 

This year's Humanitarian Award was presented to:
Jennifer J. Raab , President, Hunter College of the City University
of New York

Thank you to all of the supporters.
